Eyecandies?
Yes, your Game needs PARALLAX SCROLLING! :)
4 or 5 Levels would fit perfectly in the Game when I study your Screenshots.
I play various old Console Jump’n Runs only because of the Parallax-Art. :) Sonic or Kid Chameleon are superb examples.
